The American National Transportation System is a project that will greatly reduce the unemployment problem we have in America today. It is a story about using existing technologies together on one platform to transport Energy, Communications, and People all across and around our nation. The unemployment problem in America is serious. It has taken awhile to get to where it is today, but it won’t take long to fix it. Years ago, there was a time when even a high school graduate could find a decent job. Then it was almost a necessity to have a college degree to get that job. Later, it took higher degrees, sometimes multiple degrees to even obtain a good job. Recently, I watched a show where college graduates lamented on their failed efforts to land a job, and the amount of debt they and possibly their parents now owe. So what is the problem? I believe no matter how you spin it, it is simply a matter of demand and supply. America continues to need less and less workers as our manufacturing base has declined-check out the government statistics over the last several decades if you need proof. It is too easy to come up with blame and it is only useful to ensure going forward, that we do not make the same mistakes once we solve this problem. Each one of us can effect change but it will take a little effort, as in time. The A.N.T.S. project can help get our country back on track with respect to manufacturing and a “normal” unemployment rate. To do this, we need to focus on our own backyard with regards to policy and politics. The press focuses on the top of the ticket, whereas the real power rests with your own state and federal representatives. The guy’s who created our constitution designed it this way and gave each of us the means to effect peaceful change! Remember, we have many good people serving us and many work hard at their jobs, but they need to know what you want done, and when you want it done; so let them know.
